Food Standards Australia has issued a recall for a popular kids’ yoghurt product due to chemical contamination.

Brownes Dairy’s Selfie Star yoghurt pouches in mango flavour have been impacted by the contamination.

Urgent recall after kids’ yoghurt contaminated with sanitizer jpg: The yoghurt pouches were sold in independent supermarkets across WA and NSW.

Products with the use-by date of October 14, 2022 have been contaminated with sanitising solution.

FSA says consumers should not eat this product, as it may cause illness or injury if consumed. It says anyone who is concerned about their health should seek medical advice.

The product has been sold at independent food retailers such as IGA in NSW and Western Australia.

Consumers should return the product to the store they purchased it from for a full refund.
