West Gippsland dairy farmers Megan and Barry Coster discovered a bull calf with 'unbelievable' markings a few days ago amidst calving.
'Happy' the calf was born with markings resembling a smiley face.

“We have seen some strange markings but never any like this before,” Mrs Coster told Rural Reporter Annie Brown

“At the moment we calf 700 down a year, so that’s thousands over the years.”

The calf has been named ‘Happy’ and for now will be kept as a pet/lawn mower on the farm in Ripplebrook, Victoria.

Local cheese maker Rowan Cooke was devastated when he heard King Island Dairy would be shutting down.
