- Ayrshire: Another breed found in some regions of Mexico, although to a lesser extent. They have good milk production and are known for their resilience.
The Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADER) states, “Mexico has a strong and thriving dairy sector that has seen a 9 percent increase in production over the last five years, with the estimate for 2023 surpassing 13,340 million liters,” emphasized Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development, Víctor Villalobos Arámbula.
