Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were mixed Thursday as were cash markets while the dollar was lower.

March Class III milk up six cents at $16.59. April nine cents lower at $15.91. May 13 cents lower at $16.38. June down a dime at $17.12. July through September contracts two to two cents lower.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.41.

Blocks up $0.0025 at $1.4925. One trade was made at that price.

Barrels down $0.08 at $1.5450. Three trades were made at $1.5450 and $1.55.

Butter down $0.0825 at $2.7675. Four trades were made from $2.76 to $2.80.

Nonfat dry milk down $0.0025 at $1.1475. Four trades were made from $1.1475 to $1.550.

The a2 Milk Company (a2MC) says securing more China label registrations and developing its own nutritional manufacturing capability are high on its agenda.
