Dairy farm owners and employees with animal care responsibilities who are looking to obtain continuing education opportunities in order to fulfill F.A.R.M program requirements can do so on Tuesday April 30, 2024 from 11am to 2pm at DiNitto Farms located at 6581 Benton Rd. in Marcy. Registration for this free event is required by emailing mrm7@cornell.edu or by phone at 315.736.3394 ext. 132. Language interpreter can be made available upon request. Please indicate this at the time of registration.

Updates on the next version of F.A.R.M. V 5.0, scheduled to go into effect July of  2024, will be discussed so producers can plan accordingly. Animal care training topics include:

• Pre-weaned calf care
• How to perform a health assessment
• Dis-budding techniques
• Banding bulls
• Fit for Transport Requirements
