Cash dairy prices were mostly steady to higher Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.3825.  No sales were recorded.

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.1150 at $1.9525.  One sale was recorded at $1.93.

Cheese barrels were up $0.02 at $1.90.  No sales were recorded.

Butter was unchanged at $3.0225.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0150 at $1.13.  No sales were recorded.

Milk futures were higher Wednesday.

June Class III milk was up $0.75 at $20.18.  July was up $0.75 at $20.01.  August was up $0.59 at $19.81. September was up $0.47 at $19.75.

October through December contracts ranged from fifteen cents higher in December to forty cents higher in October.
