Three award recognitions cement this product as a must-have in the cheese case.
Starting the week off right, we received news of Saputo’s recent recognition. The company’s Montchevre brand won World Dairy Innovation awards and International Cheese and Dairy awards.
“This innovation stemmed from the popularity of flavor mashups,” said Jenny Englert, Marketing Director, Saputo USA. “With our Duos, you not only get the benefit of the two-in-one flavor combo, but also the color contrast of the colorful core. The contrast will brighten any board and help it to standout. We are thrilled with this recognition.”
There were three awards in total. Montchevre’s Sweet Hot Peppers + Garlic & Herbs Duos won the Cheese Category at the World Dairy Innovation Awards.
According to a press release, Duos is a bold blend of spice and herbs wrapped around a piquant core creating a unique flavor and can be enjoyed alone on a cheese board or in a variety of meal pairings, including with spiced nuts, on pizza, in omelets or as part of any Mediterranean-style meal.
Montchevre Truffle won silver at the International Cheese and Dairy Awards and Montchevre Bruschetta took home bronze in the Best USA Cheese – Goat Milk category.
The release noted that Montchevre Bruschetta includes a savory blend of tomato, garlic, and spices that works to elevate anything it’s spread on including a grilled baguette or caprese salad.
Montchevre Truffle includes the perfect balance of fresh goat milk flavor and rich truffle undertones. It’s perfect for adding a gourmet twist to pasta dishes, omelets, paninis, or salads.
