Sunlait is committed this summer to moving forward in its relationship with Savencia Ressources Laitières, to:

– Compliance with price-setting requirements for the period March 2024 – October 2024

– A new framework agreement with Savencia Ressources Laitières starting November 01, 2024.

Compliance on price fixing for the period March 2024 – October 2024 Sunlait referred the matter to the Comité de Règlement des Différends Commerciaux Agricoles (CRDCA) last June, seeking compliance with the price-setting agreement for the period March 2024 – October 2024. The committee is due to issue its decision this weekend.

Sunlait hopes that this decision will enable an agreement to be reached as soon as possible.

Next framework agreement with Savencia Ressources Laitières starting November 01, 2024

While awaiting the CRDCA’s decision, Sunlait has prepared a new proposal for a Framework Agreement with Savencia Ressources Laitières starting on November 01, 2024. The proposal was sent the day before yesterday. A response is expected from Savencia Ressources Laitières by August 26, 2024 at the latest. Sunlait is open to exchanges and discussions with a view to signing a new framework agreement before October 2024.

Sunlait’s Board of Directors underlines its continued willingness to discuss a new framework agreement with Savencia Ressources Laitières that will allow for a balanced relationship. Defending the interests of PO members, through the basic price, has been at the heart of Sunlait’s work since its creation.
