Wisconsin Dairy Alliance (WDA) and Venture Dairy Cooperative (VDC) announce today that the groups officially endorse Eric Hovde for the U.S. Senate in Wisconsin.

” Dairy farmers are hurting. We need leadership in Congress that will tackle out-of-control inflation and energy costs and help in fixing our milk pricing system. We need serious leadership and a lot more than lip service. Eric Hovde has a plan to reduce inflation, roll back unnecessary red tape, and has advocated for getting whole milk back in schools,” said Cindy Leitner, President of Wisconsin Dairy Alliance.

“Eric Hovde is a candidate who understands the real business challenges of overregulation and skyrocketing input costs. He’s shown that he cares about these fundamental issues and how they have impacted farmers and wants to actually fix them. Feel-good legislation is fine, but it doesn’t mean much when interest rates on loans have doubled, the cost of all inputs are higher, and energy costs have increased. We need a future for our next generation of dairy farmers and that’s why we are endorsing Eric Hovde for U.S. Senate,” said Kim Bremmer, Executive Director of Venture Dairy Cooperative.
