Skimmed milk powder played a pivotal role in the first half of October, with 1,372 tons exported, marking an 111.8% increase compared to the 647.85 tons of the previous period. This surge made a significant contribution to the total export volume, establishing it as one of the main drivers of the export rebound during this period.

In contrast, exports of partially demineralized whey (D40%) experienced a sharp decline, dropping from 2,280.6 tons in the second half of September to 882.56 tons in the first half of October, a 61.3% reduction. This drop moderated the overall growth in export volume, which was offset by the strong performance of skimmed milk powder. Other products showed less significant variations.

Uruguayan Dairy Market: Price Drop, Export Volume Increase

In the first half of November, the Uruguayan dairy market showed a mixed performance. While the average price per ton decreased by 3.3%, dropping to U$D 3,577.74 from U$D 3,701.51 in the second half of October, the export volume grew significantly.
