The new appointments to the board are current Kerry Co-op directors, including: Joe Collins; Conor Creedon; Mike O’ Flynn; Eoghan McCarth; Jim McInerney; and TJ Murphy.

It had already been agreed that Kerry Dairy Ireland’s Board of Directors will be chaired by Kerry Co-op chair, James Tangney.

In addition, the board will comprise of CEO, Pat Murphy, three Kerry Group plc nominees, and two independent non-executive directors, all of whom will be appointed in due course.

Chair James Tangney said: “I am pleased to announce the appointment of the six Kerry Co-op nominees to the incoming Board of Kerry Dairy Ireland. The appointments were made following a recent competition process.

“I wish the directors the very best and look forward to working with them and our fellow Kerry Dairy Ireland directors as we to transition the business to that of a co-op ethos and build further on the strong commercial platform in place to deliver sustainable returns in the months and years ahead for all our members.”
