
The Food and Drug Administration has issued a Class II recall for certain International Delight coffee creamers after reports of spoilage and illness.
The recall, announced by parent company Danone, affects more than 75,000 bottles of Hazelnut and Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll flavors distributed across 31 states, including Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
The FDA classified the recall as Class II, meaning consuming the affected products “may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences,” though the likelihood of serious health risks is considered remote.
Danone initiated the recall after discovering the creamers were spoiling prematurely, resulting in texture issues. The company said the recall was made “out of an abundance of caution,” but the FDA noted that complaints of spoilage and illness had been received.
