Previously serving as the director of Government Affairs, Zuleger has managed key political initiatives and collaborated with important industry partners, lawmakers and regulatory officials who share the organization’s vision for advancing dairy.
As executive director, Zuleger will continue to lead DBA’s efforts in the state capitol, directing DBA’s government affairs strategy, guiding public policy and messaging and fostering member involvement in grassroots campaigns. He will oversee the organization’s political action committee, DairyPAC, and play a key role in implementing DBA’s multi-year strategic plan in collaboration with the executive team and board of directors.
“Chad has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment that makes him well-qualified for advancement into this new role,” said Tim Trotter, Voice of Milk CEO, a multi-state collaboration of independent dairy organizations, including DBA, Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative and Minnesota Milk. “His strong track record of success, the relationships he’s built and his understanding of the needs of our dairy community make him more than capable of excelling as the executive director.”
Under the leadership of Trotter and the DBA board of directors, Zuleger will be instrumental in driving the dairy community forward.
“It’s an honor to be able to support Wisconsin’s dairy community in this new role,” Zuleger said. “Along with advocating for sensible, science-based policies, I look forward to providing strategic leadership for DBA, working closely with our board of directors and staff to carry out our long-term vision. This includes guiding organizational priorities, ensuring the association operates effectively on behalf of our farmers, processors and allied businesses. Wisconsin’s dairy community is vital to the state’s economy, and I am committed to strengthening DBA so it can continue delivering results into the future.”
