Recent rain in eastern Australia, is delivering some much needed confidence for dairy farmers.

The wet start to 2020 on the New South Wales Mid North Coast has transformed drought depleted paddocks into lushes green fields.

It’s enabled farmers to grow fodder crops, in the hope of putting some hay away for next time drought hits.

A reader sent us a lengthy email speaking to Rick Naerebout, Chief Executive Officer for the Idaho Dairymen’s Association. Here is his letter:
