
Further to its extraordinary growth and continuing success, Millbrook Dairy Company has announced two significant senior appointments to its team in order to further build on its fast-growing infrastructure, technical talent, and service offer for the future.
The Devon-based cheese and dairy company that sells into Export, Wholesale and Grocery, is now in its sixth year of trading and is investing heavily back into the business to grow its capabilities and accelerate further market penetration.
Piotr Kurzawa has joined the business taking up the role of Quality Systems & Operations Officer. Piotr’s role will be to support Teresa Pollard, Operations Director at Millbrook Dairy,
overseeing the Quality Systems & Operations, ensuring BRCGS processes and systems are adhered to and working directly with suppliers and customers.
Piotr has a wealth of knowledge and a great background within Quality Systems and Operations having worked in various senior roles within this area at Wipak, where he previously worked for ten years. Piotr brings over 14 years of solid, firsthand experience within Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) across food production and packaging manufacturing industries.
Piotr Piegza has joined the business in the role of Head Cheese Grader, bringing to the role almost two decades of dairy industry experience and expertise. Before joining Millbrook Dairy, Piotr worked in various positions within DairyGold Food Ingredients, beginning as a Production Operative back in 2005 and more recently, before joining Millbrook Dairy, as Samples and Grading Coordinator.
Piotr’s abundance of knowledge and experience will further deepen Millbrook Dairy’s collective product knowledge reinforcing its capability and resilience as a business.

Its 1057 Scottish cheddar won its first star at the Great Taste Awards and was awarded a bronze in the Best Scottish Cheese category at the International Cheese Awards.
In 2022, Millbrook Dairy won the Creamery Vintage Cheddar class with its 1057 Scottish cheddar at the Virtual Cheese Awards.
In 2023, Millbrook Dairy partnered with the award-winning Perthshire’ boutique Persie Distillery to create its very own limited edition, 1057 Scottish Gin.
In 2024, Millbrook Dairy Company was honoured with the UK’s highest business accolade, The King’s Awards for Enterprise: International Trade 2024.
