Australian dairy exports declined 17.9% YOY in milk solids equivalent terms (MSE) in June.

Cheese exports were down 22.7% YOY for the month, with most of the decline in shipments to Japan where volumes were lowest since Nov-23. SMP exports fell for the fifth successive month, down 6.1% YOY, with most of the decline in shipments to the Middle East. WMP exports improved however, up 47.9% YOY, but on minimal volumes.

Fat exports decreased 57.2% YOY for the month in commercial butter equivalents (CBE) – AMF fell 65.2% YOY while butter declined 54.4% YOY.
