Dairy producers from across Canada are set to head to the eighth annual Canadian Dairy XPO.

This years XPO will be nothing less then extraordinary, showcasing dairy innovation never before seen in North America and world renowned speakers. 2020 dates: Wednesday 1 April and Thursday 2 April, held at its permanent home, the Stratford Rotary Complex.

Despite the recent world outbreak of Covid-19, the Canadian Dairy XPO will still run as planned on 1 to 2 April, 2020. The rural area of Stratford and the farmer attendance poses a very low risk to spreading of this outbreak. The Canadian Health Organisation is currently only concerned with consumer shows attracting over 50,000. Producers from across Canada remain business as usual and look forward to this yearly event.

International exhibits have continued to expand, 45 new exhibitors can be seen at 2020 CDX.

The infamous Cow Coliseum will host 6 milking robots’ side by side, a first for North America. Participating companies include LELY, Milkomax, Fullwood, Boumatic, GEA and DeLaval. 20 elite heifer calves are available for purchase at the Parallel Perfection offering.

4-H Lunch and Learn will run again for the second year, sponsored by Scherer Inc – serving milk and grilled cheese to the first 200 Dairy Producers.

CDX has always prided themselves on supporting dairy youth and offering various formats for fundraising. The majority of food served at the XPO is served by either 4-H or Junior Farmers youth clubs. This year hospitality, seating, shopping and family areas have been extended to six major tradeshow halls.

Visit the new family and children’s area in the lower lobby, presented by Tradition Mutual Insurance; relax and shop in the “Your Farm Connection Lounge” presented by Culligan Real Estate in hall three. 4-H is selling coffee, tea, apple cider and snacks in both areas. 4-D Ag fashion is located in hall three, selling dairy farm apparel.

Don’t miss the popular Gay Lea 4-H Cafe in Hall two, serving up grilled cheese and milkshakes with 100 percent of the proceeds going towards 4-H clubs in Ontario. Junior Farmers will be serving hot apple fritters with ice cream in the Forage and Milking Mall.

On the first evening of CDX (Wednesday 1 April 4-7pm) 1,500+ producers, exhibitors, local community and media will once again attend the infamous CheeseFEST, held in the Cow Coliseum building. This year will feature two live bands, two bars and a massive cheese buffet with 100 percent Canadian dairy products. All completely complimentary!
