From Wednesday, customers will now only be allowed to buy two milk cartons each.

These include Coles Brand and branded chilled milk which is as all sizes of white dairy milk, plant-based non-dairy and goats milk sold chilled.

All Coles and Coles Express stores have the new limits.

Panic buying amid the coronavirus crisis has seen products such as toilet paper, pasta and canned goods emptied from shelves.

Across different supermarkets, there are restrictions on toilet paper, dried pasta, flour, rice, paper towels, tissues and hand sanitiser.
