Dairy Farmers’ Ball returns to Warrnambool

Get ready to don your finest attire and enjoy an evening of fun and excitement as WestVic Dairy announces the return of the highly anticipated black-tie ball on Saturday, November 30.

Following the success of last year’s event, this year promises to be just as spectacular and will once again be held in Warrnambool.

One of the WestVic Dairy’s Young Dairy NetworklLeaders, Max Bond, shared his excitement about the event’s return.

“Last year it was such a great night out for the dairy industry,” Max said.

“The event was so much fun, and it was a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a worthy cause. We are so excited to bring it back for a second time.”

At the heart of this event is the charity raffle, with all proceeds this year to be donated to the Neil Porter Legacy Foundation.

The foundation champions career education with a local focus on south-west Victoria, and highlights the significance of all careers, including dairy and agriculture more broadly.

“The Young Dairy Network Leadership Team likes to support organisations who uplift our dairy community,” Max said.

“We want to inspire young people to see the fulfilling and fun opportunities a career in the dairy industry can offer.”

Adding an extra layer of excitement and anticipation is the raffle prize, courtesy of exclusive sponsor Lely Australia.

One lucky winner will embark on a dream trip to The Netherlands, complete with return airfares to Amsterdam, a week’s accommodation and an amazing itinerary that includes farm visits and a behind the scenes tour of Lely Headquarters.

The winner will have the option to extend their European adventure at their own expense if they wish, with a flexible return date.

“We are grateful to Lely Australia for their generous support,” Max said.

“Their contribution aids a fantastic charity and offers a local from the dairy sector, a chance to have an amazing experience learning and seeing what farming and life is like in The Netherlands.”

To top it all off, attendees can look forward to a night of great food and entertainment. Each event ticket includes a welcome drink, one raffle ticket, and music from renowned cover band, Good Faces for Radio.

Initiated by the WestVic Dairy Young Dairy Network Leadership Team, who are passionate about all things dairy, this event is a celebration of the dairy industry and its community.

The Dairy Farmers’ Ball will be held on Saturday, November 30, from 6.45pm to 11pm, at the Warrnambool City Gold Club.
