contracts | Dairy farmers call for ‘out-clause’ for milk contracts

Dairy farmers are looking for a so-called 'out-clause' on their milk contracts so they can take advantage of better deals when they come up.

There is an upcoming review of the dairy code which sets the rules between milk processors and dairy farmers.

The code has only been in place for one full season but the United Dairy Farmers of Victoria group says it needs to be amended to give milk suppliers a more competitive edge.
