Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin (DFW) chief executive officer Chad Vincent was named to “The Wisconsin 275” list published by BizTimes Media. The list highlights Wisconsin’s most influential business leaders of 2022.

The leader at DFW since 2016, Vincent is credited with helping drive sales of Wisconsin cheese in more than 6,000 retailers nationwide. Per the nonprofit organization that is funded by the state’s dairy farmers, Wisconsin specialty cheese sales have averaged 8.8% annual growth over the past four years.

BizTimes named Vincent and six others as key leaders in the agriculture category.

“I’m proud to be named a top influential business leader in agriculture,” Vincent said. “I am surrounded by an incredibly strong and dedicated team and board of directors at Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin.”

The BizTimes profile on Vincent credited Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin with promoting an industry that “contributes roughly $45 billion to the state’s economy annually.”

Local cheese maker Rowan Cooke was devastated when he heard King Island Dairy would be shutting down.
