Argentine Dairy Market – Second Half of July 2025
The second half of July showed a notable rebound in Argentine dairy exports, consolidating itself as the most dynamic period of the month. Between the 16th and 31st, a total of 20,658 tons were shipped, representing growth of more than 60% compared to the first half. This increase not only marked a stronger presence in international markets, but also translated into a broader reach: 36 destinations versus the 30 recorded in the first half of the month.
In terms of prices, the average stood at USD 4,093 per ton, slightly below the USD 4,100 of the previous period. This minor downward variation did not affect competitiveness and reaffirms the stability of prices, in an international context where values have been showing a certain firmness.
In short, the second half of July was marked by a clear expansion in both volumes and destinations reached, while prices remained practically unchanged. This reinforces the view of an active and demanding external market, in which Argentina managed to position itself more strongly in the latter part of the month.
For the month as a whole, exports closed at 33,387 tons, with an average price of USD 4,097 per ton, and shipments directed to 42 international markets.
Thus, July left a positive balance for the Argentine dairy sector: a month that began with moderate volumes, but in the second half achieved a clear recovery, diversification, and export dynamism.

Uruguayan Dairy Market – Second Half of August 2025
The second half of August brought a more favorable performance for Uruguayan dairy exports, combining higher prices with increased shipment volumes. Between the 16th and 31st, a total of 10,606 tons were exported, representing a 13% increase compared to the first half of the month.
In terms of values, the average price reached USD 4,291 per ton, reflecting a 2.7% increase over the USD 4,178 recorded in the first half of August. The less positive aspect was the number of markets: the second half reached 28 destinations, five fewer than in the first half. This indicates a certain concentration of shipments, although it did not prevent the overall positive performance.
The second half of August established itself as the most dynamic period, with higher volumes and better prices, which helped offset the loss of diversification in destinations. The end-of-period results reaffirm the capacity of the Uruguayan sector to maintain international competitiveness in a context of firm demand.
For the full month, Uruguay shipped 19,984 tons of dairy products, at an average price of USD 4,237 per ton, with deliveries to 39 international markets.
