Officially opened this month, the four-level property located in Milton is the new headquarters for approximately 30 staff across Maxum’s Sales, Quality Assurance, Finance, Customer Service and Marketing divisions.
The company a principal supplier of quality dairy ingredients such as milk powders, cheese and butter to the food, health and animal nutrition industries in Australia and New Zealand.
Following consistent growth over the last few years, Maxum Foods Director David Russell said the new office purchase put the company in a prime position for its future expansion plans.
“We are really proud of the business we have built over the past 18 years,” Mr Russell said.
“Purchasing our new office is very much an investment in our business and our people.”

A primary focus area will be the growing Food Service business, launched just 18 months ago, with an expanding portfolio of key dairy brands and quality products sourced from around the globe for the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Similarly, the infant animal nutrition offering under the MaxCare banner is in the midst of further expansion. Having found its footing in Australia, MaxCare’s growth in New Zealand is a key priority for the dairy group.
“There’s new product development underway and we’re excited to expand the MaxCare range in the near future,” Mr Russell said.
Amid the office move, product development, and portfolio expansion, Maxum Foods’ end game is clear.
“We want to be seen as the key dairy player when it comes to the food and animal industries across the Tasman.”
Cementing its future growth plans, Maxum Foods officially opened its new headquarters with a ribbon cutting and rooftop party for staff during its quarterly conference this week.
