The base consists of four core sections, namely, modern scale breeding, modern brand agriculture, farming culture tourism and feed processing, forming a closed-loop of planting, breeding and processing, which is beneficial to speeding up the construction of a modern agricultural industry system, production system, and management system.
The ecological, recycling dairy base of Deyi Dairy combines the primary, secondary and tertiary industries, deepens the agricultural industrialization, promotes the development of the three-dimensional and combined whole industrial chain and doubles the value of agricultural development. The base was listed as the key construction project of Shandong province in 2018.
In accordance with the highest international standards, Deyi has imported 7,000 pure bred holstein cows from Australia, adopted the world’s advanced intensive breeding method, and first proposed the six 100 percent pasture management systems in China. It has met the international advanced level in forage grass planting, dairy bread, breeding scale, facility, breeding technology and animal husbandry management.
Adopting the world’s most advanced pasture equipment, Deyi has invested and established three modern pastures integrating intelligent and informationized technologies, each of which can feed ten thousand cows.
Deyi has provided more than 1,000 jobs for Gaoqing county and driven more than 12,000 farmers in Muli and Qingcheng to become rich. The dairy base has optimized the planting structure of 84,000 mu of land in Gaoqing county, increased the income of local farmers by more than 5 million yuan, realized the green development of agriculture and animal husbandry, and enhanced the vitality of rural industry development.
