Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative today announced Rachel Malcore as the newest addition to the company’s communication team. Malcore will serve as the public relations specialist. She plays an integral role in crafting strategic messaging and creating engaging content on behalf of the association and its affiliates.

Malcore received her undergraduate degree in environmental science from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and is expected to graduate with her master’s degree in communication from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater this summer. She brings three years of professional experience in marketing and communications. Growing up in a rural area of Door County, she has been surrounded by agriculture all her life and has developed a strong passion for sustainability. She was a member of the Southern Door FFA Chapter throughout high school.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of the Edge Team,” Malcore said. “I’m excited to contribute to the organization’s mission in giving every farmer a strong voice.”

“We are continuing to build our communications team to meet the needs of Edge and our affiliate organizations,” said Tim Trotter, Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative CEO. “Rachel’s background and enthusiasm for our association will be a valuable addition to the team.”

About Edge:

Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative provides dairy farmers throughout the Midwest with a powerful voice — the voice of milk — in Congress, with customers and within their communities. Edge, based in Green Bay, Wis., is one of the top cooperatives in the country based on milk volume. Member farms are located in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. For more information, visit www.voiceofmilk.com.

This is on top of an investment of €18,060 for extra soiled water storage and additional calf housing over the past ten years, based on a typical 100 cow dairy farm.
