EDA | Europe Day: EDA to sign MoU with Ukrainian Dairy

On Europe day, May 9, EDA and the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine (SMPU) will meet in Kyiv to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and introduce the SMPU EU Integration Committee.

On Europe day, May 9, EDA and the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine (SMPU) will meet in Kyiv to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and introduce the SMPU EU Integration Committee. This collaboration marks a significant step towards the advancement of the Ukrainian dairy industry and its integration into the European market.

European Dairy Association is a convinced pro-Europe voice in Brussels and across our Union, which is the basis for success of the European lactosphère : a smooth functioning of our Single Market, an ambitious trade policy and a strengthened Common Agricultural Policy supporting the epochal transformations we’re in.

Our Union is a success model at all levels: eight European states aspire to join our block, the Schengen area has been enlarged recently.

The further enlargement of our Union is a geopolitical necessity, but also a huge challenge, since a successful enlargement and integration process will require not only a new institutional set-up but also a strong economic basis.

May our Union remain a success model, delivering on the fundamental values and promises of our Union: liberty, peace and prosperity!
