First Milk has announced that its member premium will increase from 0.25ppl to 0.5ppl from April 2020.
The dairy co-operative which has a creamery in Haverfordwest says the development is a result of the consistent delivery of improved financial results being achieved by the business.
It cites growing business with both new and existing customers along with improved productivity as the reasons behind the move.
Chief executive Shelagh Hancock said: “First Milk continues to make good progress, with positive growth and solid trading performance.
“As a result of this improving position, I am pleased to confirm our intention to increase our member premium to 0.5ppl from April 2020, recognising and rewarding the loyalty of our long-standing members.”

Local cheese maker Rowan Cooke was devastated when he heard King Island Dairy would be shutting down.
