FREEDOM Foods Group has formally announced it will not pursue a bid for Lion Dairy and Drinks’ assets being offered by Kirin Holdings Company Limited.
Freedom Foods Group has announced it is not pursuing any of Lion Dairy and Drinks’ portfolio of dairy products.

Freedom Foods had been bidding with Coca-Cola Amatil for some of LDD’s assets, but the US beverage giant pulled out of the bid process.
Lion Dairy and Drinks owns brands such as Big M flavoured milk, Pura, Dairy Farmers, Berri fruit juice and King Island Cheese.
Sydney-based Freedom Foods Group said the company remained focused on “delivering on its unique capabilities and opportunities across dairy beverages and nutritionals, plant-based beverages and specialty cereals and snacks” in line with its half-year presentations made last month.
