“This route alignment will enhance customer service and reduce fuel consumption for both dairies,” said the statement from Hiland’s management team.
The statement also says that all employees at the Lake Ozark location were offered positions within the company.
“During the decision-making process, both companies prioritized the well-being of their customers and employees,” the statement read.
According to the Hiland Dairy website, the Lake Ozark office is listed as a Hiland branch location. Hiland also lists its plants and other important locations to the company.
