Lactalis Canada reopens Sudbury facility

Lactalis Canada reopens its Sudbury, Ont., site, which will be home to the company’s new plant-based brand, Enjoy.

Established in 1962, the Sudbury facility was a fully operational milk processing plant for six decades. In 2022, Lactalis Canada began converting the site into a 33,150-sf plant-based facility. The facility is now Lactalis Canada’s first dedicated plant-based facility.

The reopening ceremony included an employee celebration, tree planting and remarks from Lactalis Canada president and CEO Mark Taylor as well as other company executives, government and community partners.
