The midwestern dairy processor, Kemps, announced it is partnering with a milk processing facility in Le Mars.
The former Dean Foods dairy plant in Le Mars, now carrying the Kemps name, is shown in Le Mars. The Dairy Farmers of America cooperative, the parent of Kemps, has taken over the facility. Dave Dreeszen, Sioux City Journal.

The facility located at 1188 Lincoln Street SW in Le Mars will start the transition to the dairy cooperative Kemps. The facility was previously operated by Dean Foods.

Kemps is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dairy Farmers of America. At the Le Mars plant, the current management team will continue to handle day to day operations and all employees will remain in their current positions.

This is on top of an investment of €18,060 for extra soiled water storage and additional calf housing over the past ten years, based on a typical 100 cow dairy farm.
