Lone Star Dairy Products has added PathO3Gen Solutions UVZone Shoe Sanitizing Stations to its suite of safety engineering protocols including biosecurity, specialized air filtration systems, fine particle exclusion, and metal detection for the elimination of foreign material.
The UVZone stations use an exclusive combination of Ozone+UVC light made possible with Corning® HPFS® Fused Silica (High Purity Fused Silica) and are placed at the facility's critical hygiene transition zones to improve biosecurity by eliminating germs carried in on shoes and floors. The UVZone stations use an exclusive combination of Ozone+UVC light made possible with Corning® HPFS® Fused Silica (High Purity Fused Silica) and are placed at the facility’s critical hygiene transition zones to improve biosecurity by eliminating germs carried in on shoes and floors, according to a news release.

The UVZone is on average 110 times more effective than UVC light alone, eliminating up to 99.999% of common disease-causing microorganisms including MRSA, C. diff, E. coli, Listeria, Candida Auris, and Klebsiella Pneumoniae; and leaves zero coronavirus residue on footwear in 8 (eight) seconds.

Synlait’s increase follows strengthening in global commodities prices since last update in early October.
