ANOTHER milk price increase has been announced by Meadow Foods.
Meadow Foods has announced its June milk prices.

The rise of 1.25ppl means the price from June 1 will be 42.25ppl, an equivalent manufacturing litre will be 42.875ppl.

It’s the sixth consecutive month that the company has risen its milk price.

Jim Bebb, supply chain director at Meadow Foods, said: “This is our sixth consecutive monthly rise and allows us to maintain our industry leading price for milk. This offer aims to further support our producers as we are aware of the ongoing inflationary cost pressures they face on farm, alongside the cost of living challenges.

Meadow Foods is a leading supplier of value-added ingredients to the food industry.

The award-winning company employs more than 400 people across four BRC AA accredited sites in Chester, Peterborough, Holme-on-Spalding Moor and Dolgellau where it processes more than 550 million litres of milk each year in the manufacture of value-added dairy ingredients.

The business operates seven days a week providing ingredients for some of the world’s best known food manufacturers and food service operators.
