Dairy farmers supplying Müller who meet the conditions for the company's 'Advantage' programme will receive a milk price of 29.00 pence per litre from June 1, 2021, equivalent to a 0.75ppl increase.

Chief operating officer at Müller Milk and Ingredients, Rob Hutchison, said: “Markets remain stable at present enabling us to make this increase from July. We will continue to monitor supply and demand in the coming months.”

The Müller Advantage programme is intended to encourage supply chain collaboration, higher herd health and reductions in environmental impact.

Woolworths and Coles say Amazon is one of their biggest rivals, as the global retailer competes on more of the same products.
