Nestlé UK&Iresharpens Leadership for Growth in 2026

Three senior appointments target coffee, production, and foodservice sectors to drive innovation and market expansion.

Nestlé UK & Ireland has announced three strategic leadership changes as part of its broader agenda to accelerate growth across key business segments in 2026. The appointments span the company’s coffee, manufacturing, and foodservice divisions, signalling a refreshed executive lineup aimed at strengthening execution, sustainability and customer focus across channels.

Katya Simmons has been named Managing Director for Coffee at Nestlé UK & Ireland. A long-time Nestlé executive with experience across Russia and Europe, Simmons most recently served as MD for Nestlé Professional UK & Ireland, where she drove market share expansion, customer partnerships and sustainability initiatives such as the Choose Hospitality Pledge. She says she’s excited to lead the coffee business through future growth opportunities.

Taking on operational oversight, Martin Krohn steps into the role of Head of Technical and Production for the market. Krohn brings years of manufacturing leadership across Europe, most recently overseeing confectionery production improvements. His remit now includes factory operations across coffee, confectionery and food categories, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and performance enhancement.

In the foodservice segment, Lorenzo Vigano has been appointed Managing Director of Nestlé Professional UK & Ireland, a dedicated business-to-business division serving hospitality and foodservice customers. Vigano’s track record includes leadership roles across Italy, Europe and Turkey, where he helped scale markets and refine product portfolios — experience he brings to boost performance in one of Nestlé’s strategic commercial channels.

These leadership moves reflect Nestlé’s intention to combine global expertise with local execution in one of its most competitive markets. By aligning seasoned executives to core segments — coffee, production excellence, and foodservice — the company is positioning itself to respond to evolving consumer preferences while maintaining operational rigor and sustainability commitments.
