Two dairy farms in southeastern Minnesota will be competing in the 2025 United States Championship Cheese Contest®.

Dairy Farmers of America of Zumbrota and Prairie Farms Dairy, Inc. of Faribault and Rochester have submitted entries to be evaluated at the competition March 4 through March 6 at Resch Expo in Green Bay Wisconsin.  Those products are among a total of 2,414 entries across 117 classes of dairy products.

“We’re pleased to see dairy manufacturers across the country take advantage of this chance to improve their craftsmanship, grow their businesses, and achieve one of the cheese industry’s highest honors,” says Kirsten Strohmenger, Contest Director.  “We wish these entrants from the Rochester area – and all those participating – the best of luck!”

Hosted biennially by Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association since 1981, the U.S. Championship Cheese Contest is the nation’s premier cheese, butter, cultured products, and dry dairy ingredient competition. For more information, click here.
