US farm groups want Trump to spare undocumented from deportation

Trump immigration plan will hurt dairy farmers

As Donald Trump confirmed, he will build on the horrors of his first administration and aggressively target the millions of immigrant community members who live in our neighborhoods, attend our schools and run small businesses.

Trump and his cronies have laid out plans to use government resources to perpetuate the mass arrest, detentions and deportations of our community members and tear apart families.

Wisconsin dairy farmers, industry executives and immigrant advocates are warning of the catastrophic impact Trump’s plan would have on Wisconsin’s economy and dairy industry.

The 6,000 Wisconsin family dairy farms are already struggling to stay afloat as large corporate farms take over. Many more farms will be forced out of business if Trump deports Wisconsin’s migrant workers.

Project 2025 says to suspend legal immigration applications and reduce visas for the agricultural, construction, and hospitality sectors. It will rescind protections for Dreamers — immigrants who came to America as children and grew up here.

Trump will supercharge the Department of Homeland Security. Please ask your Congress people to cut funding to DHS immigration enforcement and prevent Trump from having access to the resources he needs to carry out his mass deportation plans.
