Many Tweed Valley dairy farmers saw their cows washed away in the floods 12 months ago, and most are still struggling to get their farms back to full production.

Darryl and Amy Kennedy managed to save all of their animals but their herd is suffering with diseases.

Neil Baker, a beef and pork farmer, had 12 metres of flood water across his property and it dumped 15,000-20,000 cubic metres of silt.

Egg producer Fabian Fabbro from Woodland Valley Farm at Vernvale, also describes his losses over the past 12 months to our reporter Kim Honan.
