Upstate Niagara Cooperative is set to embark on a significant $150 million expansion project in West Seneca, New York, to address the rising consumer demand for cottage cheese and Greek yogurt.
The company has proposed a 250,000-square-foot addition to its existing 222,851-square-foot facility, with construction scheduled to commence later this fall. This expansion will encompass dairy product manufacturing and is expected to boost employment at the site by 54%, increasing the workforce from 240 to 370 employees.
