A woman living in Bendigo, Victoria, wrote on Facebook her Woolies full cream milk in a three litre bottle had a “bad chemical taste to it”.

She added she purchased the milk from a Woolies at Epsom in Bendigo.

Another man added his milk also tasted bad.

“So that went down the drain,” he wrote.

Another woman added her milk, which she purchased in Canberra, also had a bad taste.

Woolworths took ‘precautionary step’ to pull milk

A Woolworths spokesperson told Yahoo News Australia the supermarket took “the precautionary step” of withdrawing a single batch of two and three litre Woolworths branded Full Cream Fresh Milk from sale in Victoria and the ACT.

“This followed feedback on the taste of this particular batch from a small number of customers,” the spokesperson said.
