The ambassador expressed the country’s desire to support UP in modernising its agriculture and dairy sector. The Ambassador also told the CM that the Netherlands is willing to establish a training centre in the state to train its dairy farmers in advanced technologies at work in the sector.
During the meeting, CM Yogi apprised the diplomat about UP’s standing on the second position for ‘Ease of Doing Business’ which has continued to bring investments and support from various countries and regions.
The state government and the Netherlands are already working together in several fields, including renewable energy, solid waste management and water management.
It was deliberated that using technological advancement for food processing, farmer’s income could be doubled in flower production and in the dairy farms.
The Ambassador had last visited UP in 2019 and he praised the development made in the state since then.
