The winners were selected from among 60 entities assessed from multiple perspectives. Ms. Anna Gembicka – Deputy Minister of Agriculture – also this year presided over the Chapter selecting the best of the best. The jury was composed of the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Lech Kołakowski, Mr. Andrzej Pleszuk (Marshal's Office of the Podlaskie Voivodeship), Mr. Artur Puławski (expert dairy sector inspector), Ms. Dorota Śmigielska (milk market analyst), Ms. Agata Jakóbczyk – Zielińska Crédit Agricole Bank Polska S.A., Ms. Karina Zawadzka SIG Combibloc Sp. z o.o., Ms. Agnieszka Maliszewska (first vice-president of COGECA).
The Polish dairy industry is a unique area of the economy that definitely stands out from other countries. The dairy sector in our country is still developing, and the products from Poland are known, appreciated all over the world and constantly conquer new markets. As dairy is a very important part of the diet and the interest and demands of customers are increasing, the competitiveness of the dairy industry is also increasing.
The Business Woman Award was awarded to Ms. Zofia Just (OSM Czarnków). The Manager of the Year award went to Mr. Łukasz Kalinowski (OSM in Piątnica). The District Dairy Cooperative in Piątnica received an award in the Special Category – Expansion Leader, while the "Innovative ecological packaging" award was given to the District Dairy Cooperative in Łowicz.
The award in the category of Small dairy cooperatives was awarded to Ciechanowska Dairy Cooperative, the award in the category of Medium Dairy Cooperatives was awarded to the Dairy Cooperative in Gostyń, the award in the category of Large Dairy Cooperatives was given to the Mlekovita Dairy Cooperative. In the category of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Spółdzielnia Mleczarska SPOMLEK turned out to be the leader. This year, for the second time, the award in the
Green Solutions Enterprise category was awarded to the District Dairy Cooperative in Sierpc. For the first time, it was decided to recognize enterprises in the Research and Development Activity category. The first winner in this category is the District Dairy Cooperative in Piątnica.
